Participation Requirements

Discord Presence:
-
All participants are required to be present in the Gamiconn Discord server during the matches. Usage of other servers during the match is strictly prohibited.

1.2Residency Requirement:

Participants must be residents of Mumbai or must be physically available in Mumbai at the time of prize distribution.
​
1.3Internet Connection:
-
All participants must have a stable and adequate internet connection to ensure smooth gameplay.
​
1.4Power Outages:
-
In case of a power outage, players are granted a 10-minute break to reconnect. If a player cannot reconnect in the given time, the team may:
-
Use a substitute player (if available).
-
Continue with the disadvantage.
-
1.5Prize Distribution Timeline:
-
Prizes will be distributed within 90 days of the tournament's conclusion.
1.6Team Roster:
-
Each team is allowed to register a maximum of two substitute players. No extra players will be accepted.

1.7Registered IDs:
-
Players must use the IDs registered at the time of registration. No name changes, alternate IDs, or similar alterations are allowed.

1.8Discord & Valorant ID:

Players are required to provide the following details to the tournament organizers:

Gameplay Regulations
​
2.1Voice Channels:
-
Players must use the designated voice channels in the Gamiconn Discord server during the match. No other channels or external communication tools are permitted.

2.2Coach Restriction:
-
No coaches are allowed during matches to ensure the integrity and fairness of the competition.
​
2.3Substitute Players:
-
Substitutes can only be used as per the registered details. No unregistered substitutes are allowed.
​
2.4Match Timeliness and Consequences:
-
Teams must connect within the allotted time frame. Failing to do so will result in:
-
Automatic loss for the match.
-
Possible elimination from the tournament.
-

2.5Match Scheduling Confirmation:
-
Teams are responsible for confirming their match schedules via the official tournament Discord within 24 hours of receiving match notifications.
​
2.6Game Setup:
-
Server Location: All matches will take place on the Mumbai Server.
-
Game Mode: Standard Match, Cheats: Off, Tournament Mode: On.

2.7Map Selection Process:
-
Map selection follows a veto process:
-
Knockout (Single match elimination): Teams will play on preselected maps decided by the Organizers.
-
Players will decide the map/side by toss, Losers of the toss will go for the vise versa.
​
oMap presets: -

Stage 1 - Sunset, Icebox, Lotus.
-
Stage 2 - Bind, Breeze, Abyss.
-
Stage 3 – Ascend, Bind, Breeze, Icebox.
-
Stage 4 – Icebox, Lotus, Sunset, Abyss.
-
Best-of-Three (Bo3): Each team bans one map, then alternates picking maps until the final map is left.

2.8Match Pause (NA for Knockout stage):

Technical Pauses: A maximum of three minutes per technical pause is allowed.
-
Tactical Pauses: Duration is 60 seconds, and each team is allowed one tactical pause per half.
​
2.9Match Start Time:
-
Matches must commence within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. Any delay beyond this may lead to penalties or disqualification.

2.10Player Connection Issues:
-
In case a team drops to fewer than the required players, they have three minutes to reconnect. Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of the match.
​
​
2.11Reporting Results:
-
After each match, both teams must take screenshots of the results and post them in the current round sub-channel on the official Discord.

Prohibited Conduct and Penalties

Third-Party Software:
-
The use of any third-party software providing an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate disqualification and a permanent ban from future tournaments.

3.2Stream Sniping:

Stream sniping is a bannable offense and will result in team disqualification.
​

3.3Hateful Conduct:

Players must maintain a decent and respectful demeanor during matches. The use of hateful language, toxic behavior, or profanity will result in team disqualification.

3.4Bribery and Match Fixing:
-
Offering gifts or bribes to tournament organizers is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification. Match-fixing with other teams is also banned and will result in disqualification of all involved teams.

3.5Gambling Prohibition:

Gambling related to the tournament is illegal. If any participant is caught, legal action will be taken, and the participant will be banned.

3.6Cheating Scandal:

Any cheating incident will lead to:

3.7False Allegations:
-
False accusations of cheating will result in point deductions for the accusing team.
​
​
3.8Global Chat Usage:

Global chat is only permitted for reporting technical issues. Misuse will result in
warnings, and repeated misuse may lead to match forfeiture.

3.9Harassment and Violence:
-
Any form of harassment, offensive language, or threats (physical or verbal) will lead to immediate disqualification.

Prize Distribution

Distribution Timeframe:

Prizes will be distributed within 90 days of the tournament's conclusion.

4.2IGL Contact for Prize Distribution:

The In-Game Leaders (IGLs) of the winning and runner-up teams will be contacted for prize distribution.
​
4.3Physical Availability:

Atleast one participant must be available in Mumbai during prize distribution.

Miscellaneous Rules

VC Presence:
-

A member of the admin team will be present in every voice channel during the matches to monitor communications.
​
​
5.2Face-Cam Requirement for Interviews:
-
One team member, preferably the team leader, must be available on Discord with a face-cam between matches for post-match interviews.
-
Final Say
-
Tournament Admin’s Decision:
-
The decision of the Tournament Organizers/Admin is final and cannot be contested.
